		<description>I remember as a youngster a rather large man with a big white beard sitting at the balcony and watching people pass by. I also received several haircuts in the basement. It faced So. Columbia ave. I watched one day as the hotel sign was removed, it had some broken supports and was in danger of falling. I hope to see it back up again some day.</description>
