The building used to be a 32-room hotel which housed traveling salesmen that sold goods to local merchants.\u00a0 Hence, it was known as the Merchant’s Hotel.<\/p>\n

Merchant Tower is the cornerstone of Downtown Campbellsville.\u00a0 Because of it’s location and stature on Main Street, it also known as the gateway to Main Street.<\/p>\n

Although Merchant Tower is it’s own historic landmark, it’s also within a historic district called the Campbellsville Commercial Historic District.<\/p>\n
